Q. If i sign up for an account how long will it take for it to be set up?
 

A.If you sign up during office hours we aim to have your hosting set up within 45 minutes, during the night or after 7pm if may take a little longer but your account will be set up within 24 hours. For security reasons all sign ups are verified before we set up your account. Please ensure that you check your spam box for our welcome email.


Q. Are all your servers based in the UK?
 

A. Yes, all our servers are based in London UK


Q. Is it possible to upgrade my account if my needs change?
 

A. Yes , all you need to do is send us an email and we can have your account upgraded within minutes.

Q. Can I cancel instantly at any time without giving notice?
 

A.Yes, there are no minimum contact periods for our hosting and users can cancel an account with no notice needed by sending us an email.

Q. Can i buy a domain name from you to use with my account?
 

A. At the moment we currently we don’t sell domain names. You will have to purchase domains through one of the many domain registrars on the web and then point them to our servers by updating the name servers. This is a quick and easy process, please contact us if you have any problems.

Q. Can I host international domains?

A. Yes, we currently have clients that use .co.uk, .ca, .il, .tc, .nu, .ve .com .ru, and many other international domain names.

Q. Do you offer NT or UNIX plans?

A. We offer UNIX web hosting accounts. We do not handle Windows on any machines due to its overall instability and obsessive cost for licensing.


Q. How do I access my control panel and webmail?

A. You can login to your control panel at www.controlpanel.cc and webmail at www.controlpanel.cc/webmail


Q. How do I FTP into my account?

A. To FTP into your account you will first need to get a copy of an FTP program, we recommend FileZilla, which you can get from http://filezilla-project.org/index.php To set up your FTP client you will need to give it some information about our server, this information is listed below:

Username & Password - This is the same as you choose when you signed up for the account and you will find it in your welcome e-mail.

Host name - This is provided on your control panel or in your welcome email

A. After logging into your control panel go to WEB STATISTICS

Q. Do you support ASP scripting?

A. We don't support ASP scripting but we do support PHP scripting which is considered better and more reliable than ASP.

Q. What version of PHP comes installed on your servers?

A. PHP 4 & PHP 5 , PHP 5 is the default script , to use PHP 4 simply rename your php files to .php4


Q. What version of MySQL comes installed on your servers?

A. MySQL V4.1.22 & V 5.1.24


Q. How long does it take for my DNS changes to update world wide?

A. Normally you can expect to see your web site DNS to change within 24 hours once you have made the modifications at your registrar. However, we have seen it take up to 3 days in some cases where registrars and ISPs are a little slower.
