Control Panel
 

Our control panel is the easy to use method of controlling the main features of your account at the touch of a button. You can add POP3 mailboxes, set up an E-mail redirects, map domains to directories and create sub-domains. Also you can view your web statistics and send and receive e-mail with our web based e-mail service. This manual will take you through all of these features giving you detailed step-by-step instructions on how to use them.

ACCOUNT DETAILS


This shows the details of you account for example your web space and bandwidth allowances, your account usage and other useful info.

WEB TOOLS



Web tools contains a collection of useful tools to help you manage your web-site, the features available are shown below:


FrontPage Extensions - Activate or remove Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Extensions for any of the domains on your account.

Activate MySQL - Activate your MYSQL Database. This can be used to store dynamic content for your web-sites that can be integrated using PHP or CGI.

MySQL Administration - Log in and administer your MYSQL database from your web-browser!

Secure Server - How to access the SSL Secure Server link to your web-space. This will encrypt data to and from your web-site.
 

WEB STATISTICS


Every domain that you add to your account automatically has web stats generated for it, so you can see how your site is being used. A program called Wusage generates these by analysing the the web server logs extracting useful information, which you can then use to find how people are using your site etc.
To view stats for a domain, login to the control panel and click on "Web Statistics". You will see a list of all of you domains with a view button next to them. Click on view and this will bring up the stats in a new window. The stats are created overnight, so there is a one day delay before you see stats for a domain.
 

WEB-MAIL


Web mail is available for all mailboxes on our system, so wherever you are you can always check your e-mail and all you need is an Internet browser. The features of web mail include:

Send/receive from any mailbox
Send/receive attachments
View plain text & HTML e-mails
SSL security for secure reading of e-mails
Separate login so your customers can check their mail online
To login to a mailbox on the system all you need to do is go to the main web site and click on web mail on the control panel section on the left hand side. Then that will take you to the login screen for web mail, and then in the two boxes just enter the mailbox user name and the password. These will be the same as you have entered in your mail program to download your e-mail.
